Meet Lindsay Young Honaker

Hello!

Here's a Little More About Me

I am so excited to get to know you, too!

I am a Farragut native, community advocate, and Democratic candidate for Tennessee State House Representative, District 14. I live in Farragut with my husband, Brian, our two children, Annie, a fifth grader, and Tramel, a second grader, and our three dogs: Buddha (17), Tsali (14), and Maggie (5).

I attended Farragut schools from first grade through high school and earned a degree in Political Science from Maryville College. I currently work on the Project Management team at Cellular Sales’ corporate office. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on bringing people together, helping teams thrive, and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued.

My decision to run for office grew from both faith and concern for the future. I realized that caring wasn’t enough. If I want my children to grow up in a Tennessee where their voices matter and they can build a life here, stepping into this work became necessary. This isn’t about ambition—it’s about responsibility.

My campaign focuses on strengthening public schools, addressing infrastructure and growth, expanding access to healthcare, protecting democracy, and lowering the cost of living. My faith guides my commitment to service, justice, and protecting the vulnerable. Those values aren’t partisan—but right now, they require courage.
